For us hospitality and care go hand on hand. Not only do we deliver exceptional service, we believe in making a positive impact in the communities we serve. Together, we share smiles, create memories and uplift lives.
Our business divisions play a prominent role in supporting charities in their local areas, and in 2024 alone we supported more than 50 local charities.
Since establishing Splendid our founder Shiraz has donated in excess of £30 million to good causes.
Recent examples
Splendid Helps the Homeless with a Hot Meal
Four the past two years Splendid Hospitality Group which operates Hotel Indigo York have supported the homeless population in the city centre by delivering goulash, bread rolls and water.
KFC Hatch Programme
In 2024 Splendid Hospitality Group (SHG) created six new permanent roles for underrepresented youth in Birmingham and the West Midlands as part of a programme called Hatch, a social mobility initiative with KFC and UK Youth.
Splendid Hotels
Every year Splendid Hospitality Group (SHG) hotels embrace the spirit of giving with a series of initiatives supporting their local communities in the run-up to Christmas.
Cash for Kids Mission Christmas
Since 2020 Splendid Restraurants’ KFC franchise business has grown its involvement every year with Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas.
Hospitality Action
The Hospitality industry is about serving with care and we believe in serving our industry and communities where we operate.
As of 2025 Hospitality Action are an official charity partner of Splendid Hotels’. This incredible organisation offers vital assistance to past and present hospitality workers, whether they have financial, physical or mental health needs.
