Shiraz Boghani
Shiraz is a dynamic entrepreneur, praised highly for his role in the world of hotels and awarded “Hotelier of the Year” at the Asian Business Awards 2016. As Chairman Emeritus of Splendid Hospitality Group, Shiraz directs the growth strategy of the business and has a clear vision of the Group’s foray into several different enterprises.
Nadeem Boghani
An ‘Old Boy’ of Merchant Taylors’ and a graduate of the London School of Economics. Nadeem qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the stables of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) gaining exposure to both listed companies and owner-managed businesses in a broad spectrum of industries. Working in Assurance and Business Advisory services at PwC enabled Nadeem to gain specialist skills in auditing, financial reporting and internal controls.
Will Stratton-Morris
Will balances his role of Vice Chairman concurrently being the Chief Development Officer of Caffé Nero with 30 years’ experience in branded customer facing service businesses including BA, The Walt Disney Company, IHG and SSE. He has substantial expertise in leading transformational change in customer-centred organisations. Will is the Non-Executive Chair of BeEV, an EV charging business backed by Octopus Energy. He is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Leeds Business School.
Deshan Karunaratne
A graduate of Warwick Business School and a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience, Deshan is a strategic CFO who enjoys finding pragmatic solutions to complex business issues.
Rachel Bulford
Rachel holds an MA from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Bayes Business School. Her remit is to drive growth, optimise commercial strategies and enhance the overall guest and people experience across Splendid Hospitality Group’s portfolio of hotels, quick service restaurants and care homes. Rachel was previously Director of Retail at Gatwick Airport where she led on the retail and passenger experience strategies.
Terry Pearce
Terry is responsible for the strategic investment across Splendid’s portfolio, ranging from hotels and franchised restaurants, to serviced apartments and residential properties. Terry brings his expertise in banking and modular construction to help with a wide range of investment and franchise opportunities, bringing them to fruition.
Andrew Kendrick
Andrew Kendrick has been in the hospitality industry since he was a young boy, growing up with parents and grandparents in the industry. He joined the corporate world of DeVere and IHG at age 24 and was one of the youngest GMs in the industry when he took the helm at Holiday Inn Express Stansted at the age of 26, followed by GM and development roles for both pentahotels and Aloft. Andrew is responsible for overseeing the successful performance of all 24 hotels within the SHG portfolio, as well as managing the central support services for all hotel businesses.
