Our founder Shiraz arrived in the UK with just £20 in his pocket so giving back to the communities we serve means a lot to him and to our people. And since we launched our first hotel in 1986, the Boghani family have donated over £30 million to good causes.

To formalise our commitment to having a positive impact in society, we have established the Splendid Boghani Foundation which is in the process of being registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

The Foundation will be run independently from the Splendid Hospitality Group business but benefit free of charge from the corporate infrastructure of the group. It will harness the extensive business experience of the Boghani family and our people.

The Splendid Boghani Foundation will initially focus on providing charitable grants to support causes close to the hearts of the Boghanis and our people – the Splendid Family, where our companies operate. As part of this the Foundation will support individuals, non-faith organisations doing good things as well as the Ismaili Muslim community of which the Boghani family are members.

More information will follow in 2025 outlining the significant funding commitment from the Boghani Family and SHG as well as the causes the Splendid Boghani Foundation is supporting.
