From 21 October, Splendid Hospitality Group (SHG) celebrated “A Big Splendid Thank You”. It’s a week dedicated to recognising the commitment and exceptional service of its people who consistently go above and beyond to deliver exceptional care in the roles they play across the family-owned business.
The initiative encourages line managers to plan inclusive activities which ran across the week and included team lunches, self-care items and surprise thank you gifts including artisan chocolates.
Executive Vice Chairman Nadeem Boghani at SHG said: “A Big Splendid Thank You has run for several years. Whether our team members are working front of house or in a commercial role, this is just one way we celebrate the dedication and passion our people show every day. They can only offer exceptional levels of care if we demonstrate we care for them, too.”
SHG also hold an annual event ceremony called The Splendid Awards to recognise the valuable contribution that its people make across its hotels, restaurants and care home divisions which took place at the Hilton London Bankside earlier this year.
